If you have set up your barcode scanner in your Settings->Preferences->USB Barcode Scanning, your students can use the barcode scanner to search for a book to checkout in the library.
Your students will simply click into the search bar in the library, scan the barcode of the book, then click "Check Out" and they're ready to read!
